2015 Spalding County Fair
2015 Spalding County Fair
Fall is almost here, and that means it’s time for plenty of fun activities! One of the most enjoyable activities during the fall is returning to Spalding County. From October 9 – 17, you can once again enjoy the 2015 Spalding County Fair! The county fair is hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Griffin, Ga., and will be held at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds at 1025 South Hill Street in Griffin.
The Spalding County Fair has been around since 1948, and is always a fun time for the family. Attendees of the fair can enjoy children’s activities, rides, live entertainment, food vendors, livestock/agricultural competitions, and much more!
According to their Facebook Page, the Kiwanis Fairgrounds are currently selling “Mega Tickets” for $20. The ticket includes one day of admission, and will also grant you access to unlimited rides. Tickets can be purchases at the Kiwanis office at the fairgrounds.
There will also be an entrance fee, but the fees go to many great causes that the local Kiwanis chapter supports. A few of the causes include the Boy Scouts, local scholarships, the 4H Club, and many others (a full list of service projects for the Kiwanis of Griffin can be viewed here).
The Spalding County Fair will be a great time, but will also support many great causes. For more information about the fair, please call the Kiwanis Club at 770-227-9187, or the Fairgrounds at 770-228-2814.
